Dragon*Con Pixs!! :D

Dragon*Con was a blast! :D I had a great time! Robert Englund is a total sweetheart! *sigh* The show went well. I met a lot of people and also got to see a lot of friends again too :) But, I don't think I'll be running my own booth again next year. I just found it really, really hard to sit there for so long and wanted to go play and see people and costumes the whole time LOL! It was so hard for me! Dewey and his friend Jon were off enjoying the con all day and I had to sit there :P I know, I know, I was working but I just couldn't get into that mind frame with all the fun going on around me. I did get to go out and people watch and see costumes after the Dealer's room closed each night & have dinner with some friends but not nearly enough as I would of liked to :/ I think I will try to get art in the Art Show and Print Shop again next year and just go for that and to experience D*C as a spectator again. Maybe I'll have a booth of my own again in a few years. On to my pixs!......

Me and Deanna Davoli of Ambient Arts. We were so lucky to have a booth side by side! It was really great chatting with her and her hubby Jeff all weekend :)


Me, Deanna & Toni Boozer AKA Blond Blythe Toni and her hubby Eddie came to D*C on Saturday and we even got to go to dinner together and hang out for a while :)


Me, Deanna and the Morbidly Adorable Misty Benson! I got to hang out with Misty and her honey Jeremy all weekend too! Jeremy was even sweet enough to watch my booth while Dewey took me to meet Robert Englund! :D


Here is me and Robert Englund! :D :D AKA Freddy Krueger!! I left my booth just to meet him :) I am such a huge fan!! I had Freddy posters all over my room as a teenager (I still have all the posters too & some other Freddy collectibles ;) & of course I have all the movies. I wanted to be a horror movie makeup artist when I was younger. He was sooooo nice and I got a signed pix, photo with him (even though he wasn't supposed to take pixs with people there at his booth) & also a big hug! :D



I also got to Visit with Jasmine Strangeling & her hubby Matt a little bit in the Art Show room a couple of the days since it was open later than the Dealer's Room. They were just so busy we didn't get to talk to them very much. Also in the Art Show room, I got to visit with Laura Law Yanmei Fantasy Art again this year and met her cousin too :D

Dewey took lots of pixs but I don't have time to resize them. There are soooooo many pixs for D*C this year already online and videos too! Here are some links if you want to check them out ;) .....

Wow wonderful photos, your booth and all your art looks stunning! Its nice to see a little of what its like over there,being that I am in OZ and so far away, I only get to see these things when people post their nice piccies!

:D Thank you so much! I fussed with that booth so much! I had my set up all worked out for a 30" wide table. When we got there the tab;e was only 24" wide O_o

It was a last minute thing. It's just three 13" x 19" epson photo papers with a backing board & Clear bag. Then I velcroed it to the front of my table cloth.

Your booth looked so good! Sorry Kelly and I didn't get to spend more time with you... :(( I had hoped to get more time to chat with you and Deanna... We saw your hubby a few times, as he was walking by..and did get to talk to him a little bit. I totally understand what you mean about wanting to go out and play.. we didn't even get out to see the art show this year..and I wanted to see Freddie too!! At least you got a good picture of him.. Normally we try to stop by and see Jasmine and Matt.. and didn't even get down there to do that! Oh well there is always next year.. maybe we can hang out then :))

Thanks Tina!! (((((((HUGS)))))) Ditto! I wish we could of spent more time together too. I think we only got to talk for a few minutes :( That is sad! The year before I got to hang out with you and Kelly in your booth for a long time everyday! Next year for sure! I will be there just to play and hopefully have art ion the Art Show *fingers crossed*

I saw you at DragonCon and bought several pictures....LOVE YOUR ART!!! I hope to see you next year even if you are just hanging out enjoying yourself, because yes, that place is a blast, but I'd still love for you to have a booth. Hire some half-dressed wood nymphs at the show to man your booth!!!
